It was a day so bright that I found myself squinting.
The surface of the lake shimmered and swayed, while the grass and trees rustled with life.
In Hōkōen Park, facing Lake Biwa, there stands a stone bench of an unusual shape.
Bathed in light and resting quietly amid the grass, it appeared like a single boat floating upon the lake.
I hope that within the overlapping brushstrokes and the subtle movement of the paint, the scene of that day might gently… reside.
