About this artwork
I just found the sweep of the cliffs on this Jurassic coast in Dorset, England to be awe-inspiring in its scale. I particularly admire the work of Eric Ravilious and I was drawn to the landscape colours he used. I liked the peacefulness of the scenes he painted and I was trying to capture some of that feeling.
