« If I can bring a smile to a face, create a new thought, start a conversation, or just fill a space, I consider my work successful. »
Robert Davis is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He cites a quote by Frank Stella as informing his artistic practice, namely, "what you see is what you get". In Davis's vibrant abstract collages, line, color, shape, and texture are intended to elicit emotion from the viewer. He primarily creates using acrylics on canvas.
