This 24 x 24 in. gallery wrapped canvas is another piece in my text/numbers series. In this piece I custom cut wavy undulating patterns in the text and superimposed over acrylic painted hard lines to add to the structure and grid like pattern. The text was applied over a under painting of cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, violets and teals reminiscent and evocative of water and floating in space. surface. A final layer of gold mica flakes to the finish product to give the piece a sense of mystery. The is a gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted in black. The artist signature is on the right edge. The canvas is wired and hung in the orientation shown. In this piece he wanted to created the illusion of water and depth. The text letters where customized with undulating cut outs to give the piece a wavy effect against a background of blues,dark blues, violets and turquoise.
