About this artwork
Blur were a band special to me and my late wife, Rachel.
We followed them all the way through their career, from supporting Jesus Jones as 'Seymour', through the craziness of Britpop in London's venues, headline show at Alexandra Palace, their first open air concert at Mile End, their repurposing around the alt-rock of 'Song 2', to the reunion concerts in Hyde Park in 2009.
Whenever I hear the melancholy of 'No Distance Left to Run', I think of… Rachel.
