About this artwork
A series devoted to creating space through the subtle difference of flat vs sheen. A juxtaposition of color by adding the gold leaf. The series is an homage to the moon cycle falling crescent to full. All are made with Venetian plaster, gold foil, raw red oak framing and acrylics.
The gold is intended to liberate upon seeing and invoke a feeling of richness.
