About this artwork
Structures are for me a means of expression. Each painting has 5 to 10 and more layers of colour, drawing ink, rubbing, washing with water, then again colours, drawings etc. The final effect is inimitable. It captures the Concept (primal idea), the Epic (the story), and Expression (expression of an inner mood in a fast sequence of events).

Robert Polansky is an experienced Slovakian painter who has exhibited his work nationally. His paintings are highly structured, each with 5 to 10 layers of color, in order to express primal themes, epic stories and inner moods that all intertwine in a rhythmic, fast-moving aesthetic. A commitment to permanent innovation results in exciting conceptual art with a signature, mysterious essence.
