In this work, I combine traditional analog photography with digital creation to produce a modern, contemplative vision of urban beauty. From a moving vehicle, I photographed a passing street lined with shops using long exposures. I believe the result is very successful because it reflects both the vibrant colors of the original image and the dynamic nature of the journey. Using a special technique, I layered several hundred images within a single…
three-second exposure, creating a unique texture.
The image can also be produced in other sizes and on other materials, and can be framed if desired. Besides fine art paper, I also recommend photoboard (rigid foam board). Please contact me via singulart for more information.

Robert Schlund
Germany
Robert Schlund, designer, artist and musician, creates impressionistic long-term photographs, abstract charcoal drawings that are open in their meaning, figurative abstract graphics, calligraphy and music that is also reduced to the essentials in his search for the essential. In the visual arts, minimalist lines and blurriness reduce what is expressed to the essence of things. The visible flow in his works is intended to lead the viewer out of their everyday life and into a different perception of space and time.
