About this artwork
I was exploring discovery and expression, randomness/flow and accidental events. I did some sketching to get the right look on the boy digging a hole with enjoyment, concentration, and smiling about it. The whole flows, the photographer/artist looking and creating, with the shadow of self-observation and creating at the bottom.

The “background” is the ground of our existence, the cosmic flow of time in which contemporary events existosmos. The relationship of the elements and ground emphasizes our place in the c, as Heraclitus said, “You can never step into the same river twice.”
