About this artwork
Where It Started is a monumental abstract landscape exploring space, silence, and the emotional weight of beginnings. Soft atmospheric layers dissolve into deeper industrial blues, forming a subtle horizon that feels both grounded and infinite. The surface is built through translucent layers of acrylic, allowing traces of texture and history to remain visible beneath the final composition.
Measuring an expansive 138 x 80 inches, this is a true statement… piece created for large walls and architectural interiors. Original artworks at this scale are exceptionally rare due to the technical demands of production and the physical limitations of most studios. This one-of-a-kind painting offers collectors a rare opportunity to acquire a museum-scale original.
The piece ships unstretched and rolled for safe transport. The image size is 80 x 138 inches, with 2 extra inches of canvas on each side for professional stretching.

« Over the past few years, I've been drawn to the freedom in abstract art. »
Robert Tillberg is a passionate American painter who has exhibited his work throughout the US.
