About this artwork
Where the Pines Meet the Sea is a love letter to the coast — that peaceful pause at the water’s edge where color, wind, and memory meet. I painted this with soft washes and expressive lines to capture not just a place, but a feeling: calm, wild, and alive.
The rocky shoreline, the leaning pines, the reflections in tide-washed stone — these are things I’ve carried with me from my travels. This piece is about stillness and motion, about breathing… deeply and watching the light shift.
