About this artwork
This work could represent both a forest and a burning metropolis: the skeletons of the burned trees and buildings can be seen, the only two colors present, strong and contrasting, are the red of the flames and the unnatural hues of the sky, as if mixed with smoke and oil. The image is intended to convey tension, a warning message for a different approach to the environment and lifestyles, for a return to greater respect for nature and the planet…
before we reach the point of destruction... but it also aims to be a metaphor for the possibility of rising again after a collapse; the end and the rubble can still leave room for a new beginning.
