About this artwork
Started a small hand draft on paper on the occasion of the action day for the climate of the 15th of march 2019, the work in digital is now drawn, re-proposing and interpreting some themes of climate changes.
A cosmic light beam highlights two different characteristics caused by them. Earth is in fact symbolically represented in two parts; one barren, without seas, emptied by the drought and atmospheric pollution, the second one instead totally under… water.
A Nature suffering and disoriented for that is expressed by the screaming and injured flower which also rebels against pollination, perhaps not recognizing bees as allies, thus also introducing the theme of the risk of their extinction. These, drawn with broken lines and cubic shapes take a micro-robotic appearance, by growing a doubt...
A pure and rarefied alien being, perhaps our ancestor, observes the evolution of our world.
