About this artwork
This work, like all my paintings, speaks of an ordinary person who finds himself trapped in the daily grind, in his fears and in the hope that his life might improve. He's trapped. Someone who goes to work every day, who lives the same life as always, who smiles while hiding many hardships, who always tells himself, "The day I have... I'll do..." and then punctually never does anything.
