About this artwork
Ireland is a tribute to the intimate beauty of Ireland. This work was born by observing a series of images that I had in a folder.
I was inspired by the collected position of the body and the movement of the hand, as in the classic portraits of the Italian Renaissance. The beauty
of the person and not only of the body or sensuality.

Roberto Mutti is an experienced painter and draftsman based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. Through his landscapes or portraits, he endeavors to "see beyond appearances". In his artistic process, Mutti most often employs the veiling techniques which are translated via oils on canvas or wood.
