Roberto Piaia is a self-taught painter and sculptor, a master of ancient colors, with extensive experience in restoration and the Italian artistic tradition. In painting, he developed his original Assurfivo style, which blends abstraction, surrealism, and figurative art into luminous and dreamy hyperrealisms. In sculpture, he invented the spiral form, evoking DNA, using materials such as marble, bronze, and resin.
