In Robin Ballard’s “Elements” series she explores ways to visually interpret chemical elements, and naturally occurring phenomena. The forms on the painting were achieved by the application of acrylic paint, which was mixed to an almost watery consistency. This allowed for the colors flow together in unique and beautiful ways.
