About this artwork
This piece from my Introspection series reveals a deeply personal exploration of vulnerability. The delicate, vertical structure echoes the human core—fragile yet essential—reminiscent of the spine, the pillar that holds us upright, both physically and emotionally.
The subtle distortions and reflections emphasize an inner tension, as if the self were unraveling yet still holding together. The orange element, a recurring motif in this series, stands… as a symbol of mental barriers—those self-imposed limitations that both protect and confine. Here, however, the structure feels exposed, almost transparent, suggesting a moment of vulnerability where the barrier begins to dissolve, revealing the rawness of the human experience.
Medium: Fine art print facemounted under satin acrylic (P-99)

30x45 inches – Limited edition of 6 prints

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »
Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
