About this artwork
This picture was made at playa Caleton in Dominican Republic. Specificity of this beach is that there is a mix of both salted and natural spring water. Since they both have a different indice of refraction it gives a pretty visualisation of light rays coming in the water under the waves.

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »
Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
