About this artwork
This photograph is one of the pieces from the "Parts of Light" series, captured in 2018 in the Dominican Republic during a swim in the waves at Playa Grande on the northern coast. It presents a very ethereal composition that may initially resemble a sky scene.
I adore how we initially immerse ourselves in the abstract, only to eventually have our gaze drawn to the striking wave in the image. This captivating wave not only provides clarity but also… invites a deeper, more cohesive interpretation.
the artwork is printed on fine-art paper and facemounted under a statinated p-99 acrylics in Montréal.
