Acrylic blends with the liveliness of collage and the rebellious spirit of graffiti, while ink traces underground stories. For more than twenty-five years, Roger M has been exploring the links between painting, words and poetry.
For her, each canvas is born from a fragment of a sentence, a verse, or a literary echo.
"I have made delightful journeys, embarked on a word," wrote Balzac, a quote that perfectly sums up his approach: painting becomes an inner journey, guided by language.
Her works combine acrylic, collages and handwritten text, on canvas or wood, often enriched with textures, inks or gold leaf.
