About this artwork
I am imbued with passion when I create. Each texture is an emotion, each color a sigh. With acrylic, collage, graffiti and oil pastel, I have designed a work that is both raw and refined, where the figurative flirts with the abstract and symbolism. My painting embodies the intimate dialogue between words and materials, inviting the viewer to feel resilience in the face of the imprints of time.

For more than twenty-five years, Roger M has been exploring the links between painting, words and poetry.
For her, each canvas is born from a fragment of a sentence, a verse, or a literary echo.
"I have made delightful journeys, embarked on a word," wrote Balzac, a quote that perfectly sums up his approach: painting becomes an inner journey, guided by language.
Her works combine acrylic, collages and handwritten text, on canvas or wood, often enriched with textures, inks or gold leaf.
Roger M invents a visual language born from words, where colour becomes voice and matter becomes memory.
