About this artwork
The Void is about the unknown — those spaces in life where we don’t yet know what comes next. I wanted the painting to have a sense of being drawn inward, while at the same time feeling expansive and full of possibility.
I created the piece using acrylic pigments and chemical reactions, allowing the materials to move and form their own intricate layers. The darker centre emerged naturally, surrounded by softer blues, greens and earthy tones, almost… like a landscape forming around an unexplored space.
