This will have started with a photograph torn out of a by Romany magazine, and long since lost. He was exploring the colours of the Murray River in South Australia where he had an exhibition of his paintings

Romany Mark Bruce is a passionate Irish sculptor and painter who has exhibited his work throughout the UK and Australia. He is primarily interested in anatomy, and in particular the sternocleidomastoid muscle - the long muscle in the side of the neck that extends up from the thorax to the base of the skull. His works are marked by representations of this muscle, along with a vibrant energy and an intriguing touch of mystery.
