About this artwork
The work begins as an arc to create the higher view, the approach to a place seen in the mind's eye or a picture. The work evolved from the initial parabola through the application of random brushwork eventually evolving with deep prussian/alizarin strokes mediated with galkyd for flow transparency and viscosity clutching. The overall mood may insinuate an approach to a place from a higher offshore vantage, a travelers arc.
