About this artwork
The Trinity wilderness filled with granite spinnels, forests and alpine lakes is the setting for the canoe. the canoe is more than a boat, a vessel for the sojourner traversing the law of threes. The canoe may be empty but there is an emanation that permeate the landscape. When we paddle it is just as much about going in as it is about getting out.
