Captured in the quiet hours just after sunrise, this artwork explores the delicate boundary between water, earth, and light. The soft turquoise of the lake meets the pale, textured sands in a near-geometric composition. A meeting of natural minimalism and quiet tension.
In this moment, the first light of day begins to touch the landscape, tracing subtle shadows across the terrain while the cool stillness of the water remains untouched. The fine gradations… of tone and texture evoke both fragility and permanence. An abstract interplay shaped by the rhythm of erosion and illumination.
Printed on Hahnemühle FineArt paper with a grammage of 310 g/m².
The mat is 38 mm (1.50 in) on the bottom side and 23 mm (0.91 in) on all other sides.
Ronald Mitterer is a passionate photographer and fine art artist based in Austria. He was trained and certified in the Masterclass Photography program at WIFI Innsbruck in Austria, where he refined his creative and technical approach to professional photography. His journey into photography began many years ago. At first, it was the technical side that fascinated him, the tools, the craft, the precision behind every shot. Over time, this fascination shifted. He found himself drawn more and more to the aesthetic side of photography, to the emotions, the atmosphere, and the beauty a single image can hold. His work focuses mainly on panoramic landscapes, aerial views, abstract landscapes, and the beautiful details found in nature. Through his lens, he tries to capture the calm and the beauty that nature shares with us.
