About this artwork
This is the first painting of the "fluid art" style in which I decided to represent a complete figure. I also feel that this image is a self portrait, for me it is very important to always be in connection with nature and feel part of it, to understand and respect it.

Roque Reyes is an experienced Mexican artist with international exposure. His paintings can be divided into two main themes: the first being the realistic representation of his culture- he is Oaxacan of Zapotec origin- and the second a surrealist, dreamlike style. Shifting between the personal and the universal, Reyes reflects the confusion, chaos and beauty of the human experience.
