A sunrise in another dimension receives a new permanent visitor, someone who, like everyone else, begins to really be outside. Among dead planets, the infinite opens and the void is illuminated, there the spectators of the eternal, contemplate the only light that peeks through the heavy darkness.

Roque Reyes
Mexico
« I use the medium of painting to create visual representations of subjective and objective interpretations of reality that reflect both personal and universal experiences. »
Roque Reyes is an experienced Mexican artist with international exposure. His paintings can be divided into two main themes: the first being the realistic representation of his culture- he is Oaxacan of Zapotec origin- and the second a surrealist, dreamlike style. Shifting between the personal and the universal, Reyes reflects the confusion, chaos and beauty of the human experience.
