About this artwork
An image that came out of my imagination, without seeking to represent anything more than a thought. Sometimes you can see me with a lost gaze but in reality my mind is shaping these images, then it is time to land the vision and face the frame, choose the colors and give time to the brushstrokes, this is how the works are also born.

Roque Reyes is an experienced Mexican artist with international exposure. His paintings can be divided into two main themes: the first being the realistic representation of his culture- he is Oaxacan of Zapotec origin- and the second a surrealist, dreamlike style. Shifting between the personal and the universal, Reyes reflects the confusion, chaos and beauty of the human experience.
