About this artwork
This painting represents the culmination of a process that I developed to create landscapes including characters, all at the same time through the techniques of “fluidart” and “actionpainting”. At the same time it is the beginning of a new stage for me with this style, I say that the possibilities are endless and there is always something new to create or discover.

Roque Reyes is an experienced Mexican artist with international exposure. His paintings can be divided into two main themes: the first being the realistic representation of his culture- he is Oaxacan of Zapotec origin- and the second a surrealist, dreamlike style. Shifting between the personal and the universal, Reyes reflects the confusion, chaos and beauty of the human experience.
