« As imagination bodies forth the forms of things unknown. -William Shakespeare »
Rosalind Lyons is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in England. Fascinated by the suggestions of a narrative, as well as inventing characters and contexts, her figurative based compositions also convey her love of history, art, and literature, especially the works of William Shakespeare. Influenced by art from the 16th and 17th centuries, Lyons' characters are portrayed as being on the "threshold between the past and present".
