There are these flowers whose only desire is to offer their beauty to the sun, they resolutely stretch their blooming face towards the light. And there are… the others, the rebellious beauties who lean over walls and fences trying to escape to go and discover the world.
And there are the scents carried by the wind: that of jasmine, that of roses, that of honeysuckle.
Behind their stone walls, the modest gardens hide from prying eyes. I know nothing about them except what I guess, but that's fine.
The mystery of the walled gardens allows me to dream, to imagine the places.
Once I get home I paint my dream.
