Internalizing the tragedy and horror of September 11, 2001, the artist creates "My Islands" in memory and honor of the victims. Quartz points symbolize skyscrapers, full of life, erect and immortal, vibrant paisley designs fertilizing the earth with new life, a desire for rebirth, for victory over evil with beauty and divine… love represented by 24-karat gold. Rossella Faraone's creations are meditative works imbued with crypticism.
Three-dimensionality brings the observer closer and involves him in touching, caressing the work to feel its spiritual energy, a subtle energy that draws him into the work, sensing its universal breath.
Through an alchemical transmutation, the observer will then find his or her own personal interpretation. Rossella Faraone's exclusive technique and the precious materials make each work unique and rare.

Rossella Faraone (Rome, 1969), an eclectic artist, sculptor, painter, designer, and fine jewelry designer, demonstrated an innate talent for drawing and painting from an early age. After graduating as a Master of Arts and training at the Academy, she opened her own studio and artistic foundry in 1990. She creates a unique, three-dimensional, and textured technique that has been imitated worldwide. She combines painting and sculpture using enamels, gems, and precious metals to create her "pittosculture" (a term she coined). With an artistic career spanning over 35 years, she loves to retreat to her studio, striving for perfection and elegance with her unmistakable style. Each piece is handmade. Her work is included in public and private collections.
