The improbable meeting of Marcel Proust and Arthur Rimbaud at the Charles de Gaulle Airport, taking a one way flight away on exile in an Airbus A380 . . .
Against the large panes of glass looking out to the tarmac as one walks the corridors down towards Terminal 2A, are reflections. Proust sees images of his childhood, his face and that of his younger brother. Rimbaud sees himself, at age 30, but on his right shoulder, the 17 year old rebel poet… haunts him.
Proust has his 19th century malles by which he sits, and Rimbaud has his ultra lightweight titanium carry-on luggage ready for departure.

Roy Forget is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. He describes his works as a way to contemplate the world he lives in, putting a painterly order into it. Forget's diverse compositions center around the human figure.
