About this artwork
This small piece was the first of a series of urban scenes where graffiti on walls of derelict buildings interact with more organic elements like small animals, human parts or people themselves. At times, the wall graffiti appears to come alive and animate the space much more than the depicted living forms themselves.
The street scenes were inspired by memories of the neighborhood of Bellevue, in the northeast of Paris’ 20th arrondissement.
