About this artwork
Original oil on canvas painting stretched on a wooden frame.
First springtime painting of 2025. The glory of nature and the pure joy of being alive. Impressionism. Impasto.
The artwork is an impressionistic painting with vibrant colors. It depicts a lush, hilly landscape with bright green grass. There are several trees with pink blossoms scattered across the scene. A thick forest with shades of blue and green forms the background, under a clear… blue sky. The painting is rich in texture, with bold, expressive brushstrokes.
The master-quality material has been used. Heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. It is ready to hang without framing. Signed on the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

« Behind every abstract composition is a particular place in a particular time and in a specific atmospheric condition. »
Ruslan Khais is a passionate Moldovan-born painter based in America who has exhibited his work throughout the US and UK. He predominately works in the style of the abstract landscape, and constantly skirts the boundary line between representation and pure abstraction. Color, form, gesture and the physicality of paint carry great importance in Khais's creative process, and are recognisable in his finished artworks that stand out for their vivid colours and interesting combination of structured line and sweeping form.
