In this work, the tranquility and depth of nature coalesce into a multi-layered, abstract composition. Acrylic and oil pastel combine with marble powder to create a vibrant, tactile surface whose structures are reminiscent of geological formations and natural landscapes. Layer upon layer, a tension emerges between density and expansiveness, between movement and stillness.
The organic textures evoke inner realms of longing and a quiet sense of serenity.… Areas of color and material accents enter into a sensitive dialogue that simultaneously grounds and opens the mind. Light refracts within the relief-like sections, lending the work a subtle dynamism that shifts depending on the perspective.

"WHY ART?"
WHY BREATHE?
As a freelance artist, I live and work in northern Germany. My passion lies in abstract art in its various forms and styles. My works, created spontaneously (and always stemming from a personal mood), range in size from small to medium and sometimes very large, up to 2 x 2 meters, using a wide variety of materials and techniques on canvas and paper.
My works capture snapshots of moments. They do not depict specific motifs or narrative stories, but rather open up a space in which color, form, and movement can be experienced directly.
The works are created in multiple layers (through superimposition and transparency), resulting in depth and dynamism. Lines, layers of color, and contrasts alternate, creating an interplay between deliberate design and intuitive process.
