About this artwork
It works here - and with Benjamin, ALWAYS! - only to Benjamin! Benjamin, Benjamin, Benjamin, Benjamin, Benjamin ... one of many sons. From a good home, from a beautiful home and a big house. There the door was always open, one said, but one came in. Since then you knew then there is no reason to lock the door in this species. To the outside, this has of course not only been very representative for Benjamin, but for all the half-strongmen from the…
Alster Valley and the Wall villages. To the outside Pretty and friendly - just more like everywhere else, except that nobody here talks about it.
Søren Engel
Germany
« Intention often prevents progress. »
Søren Engel is an emerging German draftsman and sculptor who has exhibited his work nationally. His works do not present one central, all-encompassing message. Rather, they are expressions of his experiences, wishes and relationships to specific moments and environments. From political themes to philosophical questions, big ideas to small sensations, Engel's compositions showcase expressive shapes and colors, and ultimately capture a range of complexities within a consistent aesthetic.
