About this artwork
The painting “Moving, but not too fast” is inspired by the final passage of the last movement of Anton Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony. I see this scene in my mind’s eye whenever I hear this moving music. The violins shimmer in tremolo, while the horns rise from darkness to light.
This painting arose from the impulse to depict inner light despite all the darkness. Using acrylic paints, I captured both powerful movements and a gentle tranquility. In some… areas, I also incorporated shimmering gold acrylic paint. The painting invites you to take a deep breath and face life's challenges with alert serenity. This artwork brings a warm, calming energy to any room.
"WHAT DOES MUSIC LOOK LIKE? SINCE I PERCEIVE TONES AND SOUNDS AS COLORS AND SHAPES, I DRAW INSPIRATION FOR MY PAINTINGS FROM THEM." Sabina Bogus incorporates her professional training as a violinist into her artistic practice as a painter. She uses vibrant, synesthetically inspired colors to translate the emotions of musical pieces onto the canvas. Her works invite viewers to experience music visually, taking them on imaginative journeys of fantasy that touch and inspire. ———————PLEASE NOTICE: NO NFTS—————————
