Sabine Hemming is a German artist whose works are exhibited both nationally and internationally. Her work focuses on the themes of movement and change. Her paintings captivate with their intensely colored surfaces, expressive lines, and unique symbolic language. In her series "LIVING SHAPES," lines and forms diverge. "It is the universal force of life that can expand, connect, and bring light into our culture and our coexistence," says Hemming. Natural forms take up this theme in "GREEN EYES." The series was featured in British Vogue in 2023. "CHANDELIERS" symbolizes time: past, present, and future. A luxury and design object then as now, inspired by nature, this "body" fragments light through countless crystals, transforming it into new spatial effects. In "ARTLadies," the individual is contrasted with dissolving into conformity, formally an interplay of the figurative and the abstract.
"This is a stunning piece and we love it! We’re waiting for our new foyer to hang it, but it’ll be perfect for the space."
