About this artwork
Large Green is a two-layered paper work in which the delicate paper cut is suspended in front of the second drawing. This creates another layer in the light through the interplay of shadows. The space that opens up between the two drawings is reminiscent of the airy space between the branches of a tree. Leaves obscure each other, reflections of light shimmer, and the view constantly shifts as the viewer observes.
