About this artwork
Always inspired by things in her personal environment, Sabine Hüning's characteristic painting style skilfully runs through all of her works. Here the artist has taken up the motif of a spring bouquet (which was standing in her kitchen) and opted for an unusual perspective, namely looking at it from above.
She works quickly and directly on the canvas without making sketches beforehand. The colors flow into each other in places, overlap and thus… convey a lively impression.
« Painting is like magic with which one beautifies everyday life. »
Sabine Huening is a German artist whose paintings have been exhibited internationally and in South Korea. In her artistic expression, she observes everything that surrounds her and uses this thematically. Huening celebrates the beauty of life and the lightness of being in her colorful and sumptuous compositions. Her figures, flowers and still lifes are made of several layers of oil and acrylic.
