In my work I explore the human form through bold, expressive brushstrokes using acrylic paints. I let feelings and intuition guide the process to create a character that exudes both strength and vulnerability. The colors are vibrant and energetic – intended to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. This work is intended to create an atmosphere of dynamism and empathy in any room.

A cousin gifting her a pencil at age 12 was all it took for Sabine Kunz to know that she would one day become an artist. Interested in natural, unconscious movements of people in elemental relationships, such as mothers and daughters, her soft, sensitive figurative paintings draw on both harmony and disharmony.
