In Transition – Radiant in Change
This work was created in a moment of transformation. It speaks of letting go of old patterns, of courageous departure, and self-discovery. The flowing colors and structures symbolize the energy inherent in every change—powerful, unstoppable, and yet full of light.
In painting, I captured the tension of the moment when change becomes visible. Being loud, being nonconformist, allowing oneself to shine. Shades of… red, gold, and orange combine to create an image that conveys both inner strength and the beauty of the process. Every line, every flow of color represents the inner movement we all experience in times of transformation.
The painting invites viewers to sense their own transformation, to find themselves reflected in the colors and structures, and to experience the power that lies in letting go and starting anew.

Art has been a part of my life since childhood. Inspired by my grandfather, the sculptor Hans Schmitt, I discovered early on the power of color, structure, and material as a language beyond words. My path is less academic and more characterized by a spirit of experimentation and abstract painting. As a communications professional, I see my art as a bridge that opens silent emotional dialogues. I explore roles, masks, longings, and transformations—processes that shape our humanity. This has given rise to my series: The Outside (green and natural tones), The Inside (blue and turquoise), and Transformation (red and gold tones). Each series invites you to feel connections—to yourself, to others, and to the world. I work with abstract expressionism, acrylic, and mixed media. Layers, structures, pigments, and natural materials merge into resonant spaces. My art is energy in motion—an invitation to pause and reflect.
