About this artwork
This piece was at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids MI! It was displayed at Monroe Community Church 9/15/22- 10/2/22. The relationships between music and the mind is a continual theme for the artist. This piece takes the sheet music of This Effervescent, written by Fats Waller, an early jazz composer and explores how music engages the entire mind. piece has a hand made wood base. Plexiglass is laser etched with the sheet music of "Effervescent". The musical notes have laser cut holes. The artist takes the plexiglass and creates a frame. It is embedded into the wood base and glued with specialized glue. Next the artist takes jewelry wire and weaves between the four sides to create a constellation of all the connections of notes. Sabre says this reminds her of how the mind works when listening to music. The result is a kinetic piece of artwork that is contemporary, yet eternal.

Fueled by her interest in human behavior, her diverse works combine her love of science, psychology, and strategy.
