This piece is inspired by the stories of data breaches. Our ease of commerce creates the best of times and the worst of times. She started this piece when she read of over 5 companies within a week that had been hacked, leaving millions around the world vulnerable to thieves. This dark web is around us. Are we just a number? that the human capacity for understanding and making the world better with technology is possible, but we have to make sure we use it to our best advantage and don't let it control us. This piece uses the news articles relaying the stories of the data breaches as a grid. The dots represent the dark actors and the numbers in the grid represent all of the numbers we use as our identity.
