About this artwork
In this work I wanted to analyze the comparison with spirituality. I inserted photo clippings of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Guttemberg Bible, all of which compares and contrasts us through the bond we have with the spiritual world. The analysis with oneself, the origin, the discovery and the rediscovery. I participated with this work in an exhibition that commemorated the birth and the contribution that Luther gave in the dissemination of the Bible… in history. I thus represented from the origin (Dead Sea Scrolls) to the Guttemberg Bible the history of the sacred scriptures, but not only... All this is something that brings us closer to the deepest self; to what we believe, to our existential questions, to our divine nature, to what we aspire to and what we would like to become. The bond with God as an important and characterizing aspect of our life, or a simple historical analysis? This is what this work can lead to... To a deeper reflection...
"I love art as I love life! The two things cannot be separated, because art is the representation of our inner world and the vision of the world that we represent" Sabrina Missere, a self-taught painter, uses mediums such as oil and acrylic paints, and recycled materials. An expert in abstract art, Missere mixes pop-art and street-art techniques, using brush strokes and spatulas to transform the ordinary into the exceptional. Her works reflect feelings of loneliness and incommunicability, but also a hope for renewal and rebirth, transforming these themes into a powerful artistic vision.
