About this artwork
Le Bleu, painted in high quality acrylic on canvas, 130 x 130 cm, 2022, represents the artist's newest look in his stage of maturing as a painter.
It was made using action painting technique, with wet large brushes and real fine and good acrylic paint. His first intention was to print on canvas, his feelings and impressions captured in that moment to form abstraction lines that will last forever.
For more than a decade, SAFE Art has been using… free and spontaneous brushstrokes to create a language of its own, whose central objective is to capture on screen the spontaneous beauty of art as an object of contemplation.
São Paulo based artist, SAFE Art (b.1979) has been developing his unique style over the past years.Self-taught artist, he is heavily influenced by japanese woodblock prints, expressionist artists like Monet and Cézanne, in his early career. His favorite contemporary artists include Damien Hirst, Ai WeiWei, Yayoi Kusama and the famous german artist Gerhard Richter.

« I always try to convey beauty in my art, which sometimes questions what modern and contemporary art really is. »
SAFE ART is an experienced artist from Brazil whose works have been featured in exhibitions nationally. Influenced by Japanese woodblock prints and expressionist artists like Monet and Cézanne, he developed his own style using spontaneous brushstrokes to create a new abstract language.
