About this artwork
The Birth of Life serves as a profound visual meditation on creation, faith, and the enigmatic nature of human existence.
The painting presents a dreamlike and symbolic landscape that evokes deep existential and biblical reflections. A vast, serene body of water stretches between towering mountains, whose gradients of blue, purple, and soft pink create an ethereal and almost otherworldly atmosphere.
At the center, a luminous white egg rests upon… a coiled, dark blue serpent—an image rich with meaning. The egg, a universal symbol of creation and new beginnings, contrasts with the serpent, often associated with wisdom, temptation, or transformation in biblical and mythological contexts. The placement of these elements in a tranquil yet mysterious expanse invites contemplation about the origins of life, the interplay between purity and knowledge, and the eternal cycle of existence.

« The worst thing which can happen to an artist is when they find their style. You found it - you are dead. Why do you need to hurry? »
